Halloween

One day, the day before Halloween, Molly was sitting in her room on her computer. She then heard her phone ring and answered it. It was her neighbor Miss. Emily that lives down the street. She asked Molly if she was able to babysit for her tonight. Miss. Emily was going out too dinner with her husband David, and she needed someone to watch her daughter Brittany and her son Andrew. Molly told her she was able too so Miss. Emily said too be at the house at about seven. Molly got her things together, and arrived at the house to babysit. Miss. Emily and Mr. David were going out too dinner and a broadway show, they would be back around eleven. Molly gave the children their dinner, let them watch a little telivision, then put them to bed. She then went into the living room to watch one of her favorite movies. She was sitting on the couch when she realized there was a clown statue next to the telivision. Molly had a deathly fear of clowns, so she called Miss. Emily to ask if she could move the statue. Miss Emily then said as if very frightened, we do NOT have a clown statue anywhere in our home! Molly then told her there was one placed right next to the telivision. Miss. Emily then told Molly to get out of the house quickly and call the police. Molly ran upstairs, grabbed Andrew and Brittany out of their beds, and darted out of the house. They stood at the end of the driveway as she called 911. The police arrived fairly quickly and went into the house fully armed. Molly and the small children waited outside and within about five minutes a small man was carried out of the house. This man was a very tiny midget with clown makeup and attire. He was finally caught. The little man would pretend to be a statue and after everyone in the home went to sleep, he would rob the house. Luckily, Molly did the right thing by calling the police and finally putting an end to the scary little clown man.

Dreams

George and Lennie had a dream. They dreamed of someday being able to quit their jobs at the ranch and go live on their own farm that they would have all to themselves. They wanted to purchase a ten acre farm. The farm would have a nice barn; a cute little house for them to live in, a chicken run, and George was going to build a nice place for Lennie's rabbits. Lennie would be in charge of going to get alfalfa to feed to the rabbits every day. They would have a fat iron stove, and in the winter they could keep a fire going in it. They would have an extra bunk incase a friend came along and needed a place to stay. They would also have a dog and a couple striped cats. Candy also wanted to come live with them so he was going to pay for a lot of the price of the farm in order to help them get to live there sooner. He was also going to cook and clean, and leave a will to give everything to George and Lennie in case he died. This was their well thought out dream that they had. I think their dream was realistic if they were willing to work for it and be patient. It would take them some time to be able to earn enough money to purchase a farm of their own, but it is possible and somewhat realistic. I think it is extremely important to have dreams for the future. Having dreams is just as important as working for what you want in life. Having dreams is like having goals. You don't know what to work for if you don't have dreams and look forward to what you want your life to turn out like. If others doubt those dreams it could discourage the person and make them give up on their dreams. Giving up on your dreams is a terrible thing to do and although it is all your decision it can be influenced by others negative opinions. If dreams go unfulfilled for long periods of time, people sometimes start to give up on them. When dreams go unaccomplished, people usually forget about those dreams because they seem unreachable. Sometimes, it is good to hold on to an unreasonable dream. It keeps people motivated to do their best to try to achieve these dreams, even if they are unmanageable. Dreams are very important. Everyone should have dreams in their life. They motivate people to try to accomplish these hopes. Dreams are a very essential aspect of all people's lives.
